In a recent study Christians were asked if they thought sharing the gospel was the responsibility of every believer. In 1993 90% said yes. But in 2017 the same question was asked and only 64% of Christians surveyed said it was their personal responsibility to share the gospel, to share their faith. That’s a huge drop.
Question: why do Christians have a hard time sharing the gospel or speaking about their faith?
3 possible answers
- Fear of sharing our faith. Of being rejected
- Not knowing enough to answers the Big questions that people have about Christianity
- Not being aware of the “great commission as the call for every believer to share our faith.
