Our Beliefs

Jesus Christ being fully God and the 2nd person of the holy trinity came in the flesh and died on the cross for our sins and rose again from the dead conquering death and providing a way for us to have eternal life with him.

We believe that it is in Christ alone that we can have eternal life and that he is the light and hope of our salvation.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday today and forever and that the Bible is his word and the truths revealed within are relevant for all peoples and all times.

Pastor Dave wilson & his wife Tammy

Pastor Dave has served as the lead pastor of Hope Chapel Westside since 1998. An ordained minister with the Foursquare Church, he grew up in Los Angeles and moved to the islands in 1995, where he planted Hope Chapel Westside and met his wife, Tammy. Together, they have been blessed with three children and three grandchildren.

Dave has a passion for music, songwriting, history, and Christian apologetics. Tammy shares her heart for worship by teaching women to honor God through the beauty of hula. Both are deeply grateful for the incredible team of leaders who serve alongside them to share God’s love and impact the community.
