John 12:12-19
When Jesus arrived in Jerusalem that day a crowd shouted Hosanna which means save us. But how many really knew what they were saying? Crowds can be temporary, emotional and sometimes run on partial information. The disciples on the other hand knew the cost associated with Jesus being their king. Who do we say Jesus is? Are we part of the crowd who get excited temporarily about Jesus when he gets us out of a jam? Do we only stay faithful when our emotions are up and were are feeling good about our faith? or is Jesus our king, the one who has total access to our lives?
