Working out your salvation is not working for your salvation. This is an often-misunderstood passage. Working out means to bring something to completion. While there is nothing we can do to justify ourselves before God and we know that the act of redeeming us out of the world has been accomplished through Jesus dying on the cross for our sins. It is important to realize that the work doesn’t just stop there. That we do have a responsibility to live out our salvation in this world
