Jesus gives some signs of the last days as his return comes near. While many tend to focus on the signs themselves whether they be wars or persecution we must ask ourselves what Jesus purposes was in detailing these signs for us in the first place. There are two commands he gives. the first is to not be led astray or deceived by false teachers and false prophets and the second is to not be alarmed or anxious when we see these things happening. One of the biggest signs we are seeing today is that many are being deceived and led astray by a false gospel that merely uses the name of Jesus but requires no repentance of sin and provided no true freedom.
