Resisting Retaliation

I was watching a YouTube video the other day about a man who had enough from “porch Pirates” people who steal deliveries that are left on your front porch. He decided that he wanted to get revenge. So being a Nasa Engineer he decided to make a glitter bomb and disguise it as an amazon package.  While much thought and work went into teaching a lesson to would-be thieves most revenge is not so funny. Our desire to get back at or hurt someone that has hurt us can drive us to act in a way that not only doesn’t satisfy, but it also ends up destroying our reputation in the process as well as our potential for leading others to the truth
